So Many Great Classes!
Over 75 group fitness classes are offered weekly at the Fayetteville Athletic Club. We offer classes for the beginner, intermediate and advanced exerciser. From heart pumping classes like Cycling and Body Pump to serene and calming classes like Yoga, our group fitness classes provide another way to change your life and develop a positive health and fitness habit.
Body Pump classes are free to members, but registration is required. If you don't have a password to register online yet, stop at the front desk next time you are in the club.

Class Descriptions
1 = Level 1, Appropriate for beginner exercisers, usually very low impact
2 = Level 2, For more conditioned & experienced exercisers
3 = Level 3, For fit individuals; usually mid to high impact and intensity
Group Exercise Classes
Strength and Cardio Classes
For these classes, all equipment is provided for you. Just come prepared dressed in workout clothes and rubber-soled shoes. If it is your first time attending, just let the instructor know and they'll help you get situated and answer any questions you may have.
Body Attack (All levels) A high-energy cardio conditioning workout based on sports training. Expect running, lateral movement, plyometrics, knees, kicks, push-ups, squats and core work during the one-hour class. No equipment is used other than your body and some great music.
Body Combat (All levels) This is the workout with PUNCH! This class is a high-energy cardiovascular training class that combines moves from a range of martial arts discipline. Due to the limited amount of space, you must sign up for this class.
Body Pump (All levels) This class offers a way to improve your physique and increase your lean muscle mass. It is a strength training class that is great for beginners as well as experienced exercisers. The choreographed weight training is set to music to keep you going. Due to limited space and equipment, you must sign up for this class.
Cardio Tennis (All levels)Fun group activity that pushes your fitness to a new level and improves your tennis skills with a high-energy workout. This class is open to all members and will be held at the Tennis Center. Non-marking shoes are required!
Body Step (All levels) STEP is back with a whole new twist. High energy music and basic step moves make this a great cardio class for anyone.
YAH Training (1) Our "Young at Heart" training class is designed for individuals over the age of 60. This class is led by our fitness director and introduces you to safe, fun exercises that will improve the quality of your life.
Mind Body Classes
Iyengar Style Yoga (All levels) This class explores the therapeutic benefits of yoga derived from proper physical alignment and specific sequencing of yoga poses. Each class will include physical poses, breathing and relaxation techniques designed to develop calmness, strength, flexibility, balance and endurance.
Sport Yoga (2-3) A dynamic and creative yoga class that moves at a more vigorous tempo. It explores fun poses that improve flexibility and build strength. New Class!
Pilates (2-3) A workout based on essential Pilates mat exercises. Improve core muscle strength and help your posture with the variety of exercises used. A number of props are used to help build strength, flexibility and coordination.
Pilates Plus (2-3) A twist on Pilates. This class improves core strength while incorporating bands, rings and balls at a fast pace.
Body Flow (All levels) Athletic class that pulls from Yoga, Pilates and Tai-Chi to help increase strength, flexibility and overall sense of well-being. Stimulate the mind and body with great moves and music. Sign up required.
Mind Body Expressions (All levels) This class integrates dance, aerobics, funk and fun to challenge the mind and body. Each class is full of great music, moves, and lots of fun.
Flow Yoga (All levels) Flow from one pose to the next while focusing on breath, strength and stamina.
Upstairs
Precision Cycling (2-3) This is an aggressive but rewarding aerobic workout that will challenge anyone from a beginner to an experienced cyclist. The amount of resistance is controlled by you, so you are in charge of the intensity. Due to the limited amount of bikes, you must sign up for the class.
RPM (All levels) A 50-minute indoor cycling class set to motivating music. Burn fat, increase cardiovascular fitness and tone your lower body while having the ride of your life!!!!!

All league fees are due the night of the first game. Each member of every team must check in at the front desk upon entry into the club. Front desk staff has been provided a copy of all team rosters, so please be courteous and check in.

Adult Swim (2-3) A cardio workout without the impact on your body. It can also help experienced swimmers with their technique.
Aqua Aerobics (All levels) A fun and different class. By using the water as effective resistance, you can get a great workout without the impact on your body. Different equipment is used to perform a variety of exercises that are suited for the water.
Kids Classes
Pump N Jump – KIDZ KARDIO
This class will consist of cardio intervals. Your child will get a great cardio work out during this hour. This class is an exciting way for them to discover new exercises and become more active and fit. So grab your kids and their friends and bring them out for some fitness fun.

Pump N Jump - IRON LIFTERS
This class is a weight lifting class appropriate for children ages 7-12. Your childe will get a fun and learning experience in this 60 min class that will include lifting weights and performing cardio activities. This class is a great way to start your child out on a fun and active lifestyle that will last them forever. Bring your child in for some fitness fun.

Junior Certification – Learning proper technique for weight lifting equipment with an FAC trainer. Ages 8-13 will train on youth equipment and 14-16 will train upstairs. 14-16 year olds who complete this course will be allowed to lift upstairs with no supervision.
Jumpstart Enrichment – 30 minute Pre-school enrichment classes starting from 2:30-5:30, M-F. Choose between Music, Art, Motion, or Spanish or create a package of multiple classes.
