Each WAYMO session is a safely programmed high intensity small group fitness experience. WAYMO athletes may choose from one of three progressive workouts (Also known as a POA or Plan of Attack) each day depending on their level of experience and overall capability. To ensure WAYMO athletes are prepared to handle the rigors of a level 1, level 2 or level 3 POA, skills sessions are made available per WAYMO athlete request. Skills sessions are designed to ensure each athlete learns to execute and master specific movements assigned to 3 progressive levels of WAYMO qualification. In addition to movement mastery, each POA takes into consideration essential laws of human physiology and bio-mechanics. For example, the human body is not designed to safely handle highly complex and heavily loaded strength exercises mixed with repetitive bouts of high intensity cardio. For this reason, each WAYMO POA is strategically broken up into two separate segments to better protect the athlete from injury and maximize the desired training effect.
