Mind/Body

The Mind/Body Classes we currently offer are described below. Over 100 group exercise classes per week are included with your membership.

BODYFLOW™ (a Les Mills™ class)

The Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates workout that builds flexibility, strength, and leaves you feeling centered and calm.  A carefully structured series of stretches, moves, and poses set to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

FLOW YOGA

Let all of the stress from everyday life leave you while you work on yourself.  This class promotes strength while stretching you.  Incorporating your mind into flexibility skills makes this a class that benefits your mind and body.

IYENGAR STYLE YOGA

This class explores the therapeutic benefits of yoga derived from proper physical alignment and specific sequencing of yoga poses.  Each class will include physical poses, breathing and relaxation techniques.

HEALTHY HOT YOGA

Join us for this invigorating one hour yoga class that is held in a heated room. Controlled heat and humidity will help you sink deeper into your yoga poses. Sign up is required and please arrive a few minutes early.  It is important to bring a towel, water bottle, and your own yoga mat to class.  FAC does not supply mats for classes held in the Heated Studio.   FAC gray bubble

HOT POWER FUSION YOGA

This one hour power yoga class is held in a heated room. Postures are held a bit longer while we focus on core work.  Sign up is required and please arrive a few minutes early. HOT SLOW FLOW YOGA

A hot yoga slow flow based class to help end your week and start your weekend.  Sign up is required and please arrive a few minutes early. Yoga mat, towel and water bottle are needed. FAC does not supply mats for classes held in the Heated Studio.  Click here to register for class.

HOT  YOGA ABS

A hot power flow class focusing on engaging and strengthening the abdominal core.  Sign up is required and please arrive a few minutes early. Yoga mat, towel and water bottle are needed. FAC does not supply mats for classes held in the Heated Studio.  Click here to register for class.

HOT YOGA SCULPT

Yoga sculpt takes a basic yoga sequence and steps it up in intensity with heat, light free weights, and cardio. PILATES PLUS

This class is a twist on traditional mat Pilates. You will improve core strength while incorporating bands, rings and exercise balls. This class moves at an accelerated pace.

Pilates Reformer (fee based)

Our Pilates Center is located on the right as you enter the club.

Pilates Reformer helps establish core stability and postural alignment while working peripheral limbs in a range of motion to lengthen and strengthen muscles. As you progress, the fitness challenge becomes greater, resulting in visible improvements in muscle definition.   We offer a variety of service  options to provide the right fit for every member.  From the beginner to the skilled Pilates practitioner, our instruction  is tailored to meet the needs of it’s students.  Reformer classes are 50 minutes.  Shoes are not worn during class.  Slim fitting pants and tops are recommended.

 

Services Offered:

Private Pilates Instruction 

Laser focused 30 or 60 minute one on one sessions are available for those seeking the highest level of quality and customization.

Semi-Private Pilates Instruction

Custom training shared with a friend.   Semi-private sessions are 60 minutes in duration and great for participants with similar skill levels and goals

Small Group Pilates Instruction

3-6 participants per class.  Small group classes are great for the experienced reformer athlete and offer great group energy as well as cost efficiency.
